Agave Sazerac

The classic Sazerac cocktail originated in New Orleans in the early 1800s. The original cocktail was made with rye whiskey, bitters, absinthe, and sugar. In the 1930s, the Sazerac Company created a new version of the cocktail using tequila instead of rye whiskey.
